Kristin Fischer is set to join CNN as the Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. Kristin is the daughter of two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up in the world of space and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. Over the course of this time, she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, two impeachment trial as well as two initiatives to end the pandemic coronavirus, and two other administrations' efforts. She also was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as Vice President Biden frequently. It included a secret visit to Afghanistan.
