Anushka Singh is a Bollywood actress. She is a top-paid actresses and has won numerous accolades for her acting. Nush clothing for women is as well her company and she's the spokesperson of a variety of brands. Forbes Magazine has featured her too. Anushka Sharma's parents were Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) and her mother works as a housewife. Her elder brother Karnesh Sharma served in Merchant Navy and now is a film producer. Anushka has completed her studies at Army School Bangalore. She is also a bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. Anushka Sharma has a master of Arts in Economics. Anushka has always wanted to become a model or a journalist but never an actor. Anushka joined Elite Model Management after graduating and was trained by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka was first spotted in the year 2017 at Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. The show also asked her to represent the collection Spring Summer 2007, by Rodricks. After her modeling debut in Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did numerous campaigns for various brands, n she has done campaigns for their Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry as well as Fiat Palio etc. Anushka began auditioning for films and enrolled in an acting school in addition to her work as model. Anushka Sharma was the first actress to film in 2008, with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She took one day to practice for her screen test and refused to perform an unplanned version. After that, she was signed to three films under Yash Raj Films banner. The film in which she starred performed the part of a young bride to a middle-aged man (the role Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was seen with Shahid Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 movie "Badmash Company". The film was met with mixed receptions. In the same year, Anushka Sharma was seen in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' with Ranveer Singh where she played an upper-middle class Punjabi girl who starts her own business of wedding planning. It received a favourable review and was deemed an overnight success. Anushka's 3-film contract at Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baaraat.
